Let the games begin – this is the perfect way to describe this year’s BLON visual identity.
It was created by David O'Reilley, an Irish artist based in the USA whose animation works have earned numerous awards, and illustrator and artist A.Bran
For the festival clip, which you will see, David OReilley drew inspiration from the traditional art of our nation.
Later, illustrator A.Bran developed this idea further and created illustrations reflecting traditional Lithuanian games. He based his work on the Guide to Lithuanian Traditional Games, compiled by Romualdas Povilaitis in 2017.
The playful BLON style is brought to life by long-time partners Taktika Studio.
