- MAFITISHEI is the new album by shishi. An album about being overwhelmed by people - when “nothing makes sense, everything starts sounding like - flachudi kliush mafitishei. You’re lost and confused, and tired, and on the top of that lazy to deal with any of this.” shishi return with an immense follow up to their 2018 album NA x 80 - zero waste trash music, no sounds wasted.
This limited edition pressing of MAFITISHEI album was produced to the highest quality standards. 12” Heavy Weight (180g) vinyl ensures the best sound possible. The disc itself is a striking Ocean Blue colour. ABran’s illustrations, which were used for the single track artwork throughout MAFITISHEI’s release, line the gatefold vinyl.
shishi is what surf music would sound like if it was made in the dark near the frozen shores of the Baltic sea. Because it was.
Visual idea: Visual album idea was to create DIY atmosphere when in 90's and early 2000 we was making handmade covers with playlist's for our favourite music on tape's, cd's. We was using different tools, collages, feltips, markers, everything that was on the table and around us.
