Stars over Scars
- ,,Stars over Scars,, project for EDIT Street Art festival in Klaipeda/Lithuania.
The festival's organizers asked me to paint this historic home in my hometown. With viewers and buses entering the city on their way to the bus station, it is a fairly busy location. Together with my assistant Lolita, we worked on painting this house for a week while chatting with passersby, the son of the original owner, the homeless residents, and random drivers. To be completely honest, I didn't imagine that people would feel such a strong connection to a project once it was completed. I get photos from weddings, dating websites, random photo shoots, article on Designboom.com, lots of comments, and proud mom of me.
